AVS was founded in 1990 and began a Research & Development programme centred around hygiene based technologies. In 1994 they brought a major new disinfectant to the market called Virucidal Extra which was an innovative approach to a market segment which until then had been dominated by old technology products with questionable performance and poor environment and safety profiles. The product Virucidal Extra is now in the ownership of: Novartis Animal Health, Basil, Switzerland, Novartis.com and new trade name 'virusnip'.

AVS now exports to over 20 countries around the world and continues to actively pursue new markets and new applications for AVS products. Whilst AVS continues to grow its business through current distributors worldwide we are always interested in new distribution channels and new customers. We therefore welcome enquiries from interested parties.
